Joe: Sure it'll install. But it won't "work fine." I know this to be a FACT because I tried it. If you don't mind waiting for your computer to respond to the simplest of commands, then, by all means, put Leopard on a G4. But if you'd prefer that same computer to work WELL, Tiger should be the last stop.

Want the details? Read them here: http://www.mariasguides.com/2007/12/19/downgrading-from-leopard/

"My old 12-inch PowerBook would be a good example. It has a G4 processor and runs Tiger. That's as advanced as it will ever get."

You do know that Leopard will install to any G4 Mac from 867mhz up, right? Your 12 inch Powerbook should work fine with Leopard.
