I think that when I started twittering, I saw you earlier post that you linked on this post.It kind of set the tone for my tweets. So I am glad I found you in the beginning. I do follow alot of people only because I wanted to get a pulse of what is going on in the world in different topics. But what it has done is drown out what I enjoy the most, which is building relationships with the few people that I think are funny or have something interesting to say.

So now I am going to slowly start unfollowing those I don't even pay attention to anymore. I am also glad that I didn't have anything to sell or promote.(My real estate services are for locals). I don't even know how I would go about it if and when I do something different and really have something to promote. For now, I just like sharing my pictures and keeping it simple.

It can definitely get tricky as people change and the medium (and individuals) get noisier. I kinda like retaining the friends and diversity of interests in the stream though, even though the list of folks I'm following has gotten really unwieldy. I guess I'm very bad at unfollowing and tend to do so on the basis of lack of activity rather than divergence of interests... sometimes it will be because of something like the weird #spymaster game that has started going around, too.

I don't remember if I was the first person, but either way, I know I've been increasingly noisy, and I know I match some of your criteria here. Take it easy, and feel free to get in touch any time. Always a pleasure.
