As a lifetime resident of Phoenix I have made many trips to Wickenburg over the years and I live about 1 mile away from the Deer Valley Airport. The landmarks mentioned in the story are very familiar to me and I was delighted to read such a descriptive and informative story about my own little part of the valley. Really enjoyed reading about what it's like to fly a charter helicopter - much more complicated than I would have thought! I wonder if the engineers on the Grand Canyon Railroad and the Xanterra employees ever get so used to their surroundings that they don't stop to notice.
