I did that years ago when I insisted the family go on a whale watching afternoon. The spouse talked me out of taking Dramamine even though I suffer from motion sickness and get car sick on grey days or anytime I ride in the back seat. I ended up vomiting through almost the entire trip with another lady and a little kid. We were loud, there was no privacy, and it was humiliating. On top of that, every time the whales came up on one side of the boat I would go to the other side to get away from all the people, but the whales would almost immediately swim to the side I'd gone to and come up there! Despite my misery, after racing back and forth from one side to the other, it started to feel comical, like the whales were messing with me. (<:

For the first time in my life, I felt some motion sickness on the last two plane trips I took. It didn't get out of control, but I'd never been nauseated from flying before, so I'm getting worse. I guess I'd better stay out of helicopters!
