I just got my Ducati Desmodue 900 SS CR about six months ago and absolutely love. I disagree about it being horrible at low speeds through traffic; I live in San Francisco and the bike absolutely rocks! The torque blows everything away at stoplights and with my bikini fairings I can split through just about any lane. It has so much power however that at times I goose the throttle and pop a wheelie. I used to ride a Suzuki before but after riding Ducati's I'll never go back... I'm looking at an MV Agusta although Ducati's are just so damn sexy!

By the way, I have the same problem with my mirrors, do you by chance know what kind you got for yours?

Hmmm...I'm not sure if I like the sound of that. You're a police officer?

And riding the Duc in Peoria would be a nightmare. Too many traffic lights. I rode in Prescott two weeks ago and through my left hand was going to fall off from all the clutching necessary in traffic.

Although I don't get paid to fly like you do (maybe after I retire from my job that pays for the ratings), I do get paid to ride a motorcycle (BMW 1150RT-P), fast at times. There isn't anyting like it! Well there is, like I tell the guys at work, "The only thing better than riding for a living would be to fly air support for Phoenix."

Bring you Ducati to Peoria, I'll check your speed(dometer):-)

Later,

Brad
